Warno
Date:
Sunday, March 29th, 2026
Time:
18:30 (Dusk)
Weather:
Partly cloudy
Situation:
After a fierce opening engagement on Isla Pera, we have successfully established a strong foothold into the northwestern region of the island. In addition, our alliance with the Family of the North has been cemented due to our efforts to provide assistance by rescuing many of their captured personnel and delivering much needed provisions. A troubling development from what intel we were able to recover from the dig sites is the prototype development of new chemical warheads. While we have not been able to ascertain where they are building them or who is organizing this conflict, we must endeavor to continue our efforts of gathering more information about this latest threat.
With our hold on the key bridge at El Guamo, it is imperative that we strengthen our foothold in the northern area of Isla Pera. Four small towns have been designated as primary points that must be held to lock Res Publica out from the north: Pava, Tina, Coraros, and Esmeralda. These areas are dense with Isla Pera's jungles, and with Tagua Airbase so close to these towns, it will be risky to advance air assets deep into the east, especially with one of Res Publica's destroyers providing support. The Brazilian Air Force (BAF) has been requested to help us neutralize these ships, but it will take some time before they can muster available planes to assist. They should arrive on station on March 29th at 22:30 and hold on standby until we have accomplished our objectives.
A ground operation has been requested to push through Res Publica's defenses in the north. Our goals will be to neutralize any potential anti-air threats that could jeopardize further air operations, control the four northeastern towns, and provide a window of opportunity for the BAF to conduct a strike on the Res Publica Destroyer (designated Destroyer Bravo).
Mission Maker Note #1 - ROE on Destroyer Bravo
Please avoid damaging the Destroyer. Hopefully the fireworks show goes well. Will try to be careful to not have the destroyer not murder any air assets we may activate. :)
Enemy Forces:
OPFOR:
- Res Publica
- Marine Infantry
- AAVPs and LAVs in support.
- Airborne Infantry
- Wildcats and Merlins as primary rotary assets.
- Wildcats and Merlins as primary rotary assets.
- Carrier Fleet
- 2x LHD (Alpha and Bravo), 2x Destroyers (Alpha and Bravo) along eastern coast.
- This operation will hopefully see the destruction of Destroyer Bravo.
- LHD Bravo has retreated south to Destroyer Alpha.
- Enemy carrier in standoff position. Unknown exact location.
- 2x LHD (Alpha and Bravo), 2x Destroyers (Alpha and Bravo) along eastern coast.
- Marine Infantry
Friendly Forces:
BLUFOR:
- 17th Ranger Battalion
- 9th Air Commando Group
- Resistance Fighters - Família do Norte (Family of the North)
- The Family is a known criminal organization based in northern Brazil. They are well funded and well equipped due to their involvement with drug trafficking and other criminal businesses. An unsteady alliance has developed between us and the Family in the interest of removing the much larger threat of Res Publica.
- Stand-in faction will be 3CB FIA.
Civilian Considerations:
Isla Pera has been an active combat area with little opportunity to evacuate civilians. As a result, several refugee centers have been sporadically set up throughout the region. Please take great care in limiting damage to civilian infrastructure. We are here to help the Brazilian people.
Mission:
This operation will be primarily an offensive ground deployment. A forward operating base will established near El Guamo to help facilitate our activities. FDN spies have assisted in providing intelligence of several installations that warrant our attention for destruction. Capturing the towns of Pava, Tina, Coraros, and Esmeralda will be key to allowing us access to these installations.
Execution:
Operations will be conducted from FOB Orchid by El Guamo. An opening barrage by howitzers at 20:20 on the Res Publica frontline will be assisting our initial forward advance. FDN forces will be moving in via boats to the southwest to attack from the shoreline at 21:30 to approach Coraros and one of the radar sites from the west through the jungle.
Mission Maker Note #2 - Spawning Supplies and No Fly Zone
We are aware of spawning crates onboard the ships is not exactly working correctly. We will just have the arsenals placed on the ground at the FOB by El Guamo.
Soft no fly zones will be marked in red. While you may likely not face any potential threats in the red zones, please avoid flying over them and stay within the playing area.
