{Mosthave Deadlybeen Courseforcibly relocated, but there are still prisoners held in the village. After rescuing civilians in Elkorum and Ma'Arat, we can hope that the present mild antagonism of Action}

the civilians toward us will improve, especially if we can free the humanitarian aid workers. Rules of engagement remain as such: all military aged males in army uniform are to be considered hostile. All others are to be engaged only if fired upon.

Mission:

Execution:

With one job finished, another awaits completion - Rangers have been tasked with rescuing IDAP prisoners and securing more grounds within enemy territory. As of now, we have clear intel that hostages are being held within the town of Bakhdia (OBJ Rock). Rangers will fast rope into a dense area that is separated from the town by a hill and more foliage, then proceed to assault from the North East. Once any IDAP members have been located, immediate extraction will be held before anymore steps are taken within the operation. Once the main goal is complete, the 17th will then proceed to the town of Dayr Hafir (OBJ Metal) to do what they do best, kill. Though orders are simple and seem easy, this should not be taken lightly and as seen in previous operations, Rangers should be ready to adapt to new situations and change plans on the fly.

Objectives:

    • {Placeholder}OBJ Rock - Town of Bakhdia - Rescue/Extract any located IDAP prisoners
    • OBJ Metal - Town of Dayr Hafir - Sweep and clear town
    Alpha
Extract IDAP prisoners from Bakhdia Sweep and clear Dayr Hafir
      Echo
Insert Rangers via Rotary repel Provide logistical support for ground forces (JIP, Resupply, Hostage extraction) Transport Rangers from each objective Provide CAS support via AC-130
        RRC
Locate and secure initial LZ for OBJ Rock & OBJ Metal Provide forward reconnaissance of battalion maneuvers

          CONOP:

          • Phase 0: Connect to Operations Server

            • Server will be going live earlier than normal to allow RRC to step off early and for Echo to organize vehicles. Everyone else will load in 15 minutes prior UNLESS told otherwise

            Phase I: Brief

Mission Maker/BCO will open up with a general briefing, followed by Alpha, Echo, and RRC with their overall movements

              Phase II: Prep

Conduct final preparation and last second planning. Make adjustments to the primary assault plan based on info from RRC. Rangers will then board helicopters for a repel insert outside of the initial OBJ

                Phase III: OBJ ROCK

After fast roping North East of Bakhdia, Rangers will move in swiftly to extract any and all IDAP personal. We are under the impression OPFOR may execute said IDAP if they are not saved in time so time is of the essence. Any located hostages will be immediately brought outside of the OBJ for extraction. From there, Echo company will transport Alpha via Chinooks

                  Phase IV: OBJ METAL

Rangers will air assault Dayr Hafir and move to take control of the town. The only current tasking is to sweep and clear, so squads will divide into lanes and push through accordingly. Once full control is assumed, extraction back to FOB Perch will be conducted

                    Phase V:

                    Phase VI: RP/AAR

                    • All units prepare for debrief.
