“The worth of steel is in the lives it shields.”
Following our attempts to liberate Virojoki we came out of the operation with a mixed bag of success. Despite rescuing many medical personnel collateral damage remained high and the populace actively engaged us. There is still hope, however, as we still made contact with civilians who remain steadfast in their defiance of the CSAT backed insurgents. Our goal this week is to continue to grow that goodwill and rescue the civilians facing reprisals and being massacred for their views. This one must succeed. We cannot allow any more innocent blood to be spilled and the people of Finland must be allowed to make their own destiny. To accomplish this goal we shall conduct an amphibious landing under cover of darkness to retrieve the populace of the next target for reprisal, Hanski, bringing them to the safety of an LHD for relocation to a green zone. We will conduct a defense in depth and evacuate everyone we find.
All personnel shall refer to the detailed update in the Warno for additional lore and details.
