Situation

Following last weeks punishing defense—where the we slowed and blunted CSAT’s mechanized spear at Line's Mercury, Venus, and Mars through disciplined fighting withdrawals and costly countermeasures—the front now holds in depth but remains degraded. Rear areas still require clearing of infiltrators and units must recover combat power; casualties, equipment losses, and shaken civilian trust are real costs. Yet those sacrifices bought a decisive opening: CSAT has forward-deployed large armor and air-defense arrays to consolidate gains, which in turn leaves depth nodes vulnerable and ripe for exploitation.
This week's aim is direct and strategic. The battalion will leverage that window to deny Viper Base Zulu and the twin SAM umbrellas that protect it—seizing time-sensitive EW, comms, and logistics material that will blunt CSAT’s ability to project power along the Finnish border. The operation is time-limited and intelligence-driven: remove the enemy’s forward teeth, enable coalition airpower to re-enter the battlespace, and extract decisive materiel that could alter the entire invasions outcome stopping it in its tracks. Above all, this week closes our chapter in theater and rotate home — the strike is designed to force CSAT’s hand toward withdrawal while ensuring the 17th conducts a measured, honorable extraction that preserves unit integrity and dignity after a hard campaign.
Penetrate, neutralize, exploit, and withdraw — quickly and cleanly. Remove the teeth of their air defenses so our AC-130s can finish the rest; seize what matters, deny what remains, and bring our people home with honor.
