Situation

{Placeholder}Welcome to the jungle, Rangers. No time for sightseeing, we’re straight into the fire with this one. The 3rd BCT got here first and has been holding the line against the Mariterran Liberation Front (MLF), but a hostage situation has developed. The 17th Rangers have been dispatched to launch an assault behind enemy lines.

Currently the MLF is holding (4) hostages within the city of Sebring, approximately 2km North of enemy held positions. The hostages, identified as Governor Sisko, Director Nerak, and US Fixed Wing Pilots CPT Marvin Huxley, and LT James Orwell; Are currently being held in (4) potential locations around Sebring. The grouping as well as the condition of the hostages is currently unknown. Safe recovery and extraction of all hostages is a top priority for this operation.

Rassa Airport, approximately 1.5km North of Sebring, and 3.5km North of enemy held positions, will be our other Primary Objective. Of note is the considerable AAA and SAM network maintained and controlled from the Control Tower, covering a 4-5km range around the airfield. Those of you keeping track will note that this covers the entirety of Sebring, as well as the airspace between friendly lines and our objective. Our mission for Rassa Airport will be to assault and take control of the Control Tower, giving us ownership of the entire AAA network, and cutting the MLF territory in half. This will be crucial for all future operations within the region.

Secondary considerations are a MLF Naval Force located in the Bay west of Lely and Goodland.
