          Preservation of U.S. assets and personnel is primary goal. Destruction of infrastructure authorized.

          Mission:


          The PLA and the MLF have launched coordinated attacks all along the front line throughout the week and have successfully sieged out several of our key facilities. The southwestern fortress island, Airbase Gasparilla, was infiltrated and neutralized by Chinese Spec Ops according to latest intelligence reports and have enabled troop movements to pressure us from the west. Meanwhile, to the east, the 3rd BCT destroyed the Riverside bridge to halt further enemy advances. To the north, Airbase Rassa was successfully destroyed by our friendly forces before they were overrun. Airbase Haven is our last major airbase in all of Mariterra and is the key to our survival on the mainland. The Mariterran Union has reorganized their military forces and formed the 1st Infantry Battalion to assist in holding the frontline. One of the major points that must be held at all costs, by order of the Valentine Contingency, is the capital of Mariterra: Cape Rassa. If the city falls, the gateway to Airbase Haven is wide open and our defeat imminent. A PLA naval blockade is holding off the U.S. 7th Fleet from being able to supply us with further assets, but PACOM firmly believes that the 7th Fleet can and will break through. We must buy time.

          Execution:

          The 17th Ranger Battalion has managed to successfully retreat from Camp Sobel and recovered several key assets to help in the defense of the capital. Now it is time to make use of those assets and build up our defenses around the city and hold the line. FOB Texas has been designated as the primary central command point that must be held at all costs. If Texas falls, Mariterra falls.

          The city is broken up into four major districts, the industrial district, residential, market, and downtown. The enemy will likely approach from the three main MSRs leading into the city: west, north, and east. The MU 1st Infantry will protect our south. Limited air support will be provided in the form of A-10 planes from Airbase Haven, but OPFOR is known to possess MANPADs and SAM sites around their frontline.

          Limited support from friendly forces in the form of infantry and armor can be provided.*

          *IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING FRIENDLY AI: I am willing to deploy friendly forces to help aid in the defense of the city in the form of infantry and armor in a limited capacity, but only by HHC request/approval. Screenshots will be provided to show how they would look like.

          Primary Objective:
            Hold Cape Rassa and defend FOB Texas at all costs.
              At least 20 minutes of prep time will be allotted post briefing for setting up defenses. Possible light contact during prep time.
              Secondary Objectives:
                Assist friendly forces in the AO as needed.
