Situation

The Battle of Lawan Aridi marked the end of the Kujari Defense Force as a conventional military organization.

The combined efforts of the 17th Ranger Battalion and Pentastar Elite shattered the remaining KDF command structure and effectively destroyed the military's ability to conduct organized operations.

In the aftermath, surviving KDF personnel abandoned their positions, discarded their uniforms, and fled westward through territory now controlled by United Nations Peacekeeping Forces.

American intelligence believes former KDF officers, government officials, military personnel, and supporters of the former regime are utilizing UN-controlled settlements and refugee corridors to escape Kujari and reach the Niakalan border.

Washington has concluded that these fleeing elements represent the foundation of a future resistance movement.

As a result, the mission has changed.

The objective is no longer to defeat the KDF.

The objective is to ensure nothing remains.

UN Peacekeeping forces have established control over key settlements throughout western Kujari and have become the dominant military presence in the region.

UN forces are assessed to possess:

UN forces are expected to resist American operations throughout the AO.

Former Kujari Defense Force Personnel

Surviving KDF elements are believed to be dispersed throughout the region.

Many are believed to be operating from within UN-controlled areas.

Any individual or group that chooses to resist American operations is to be considered hostile.

Mission

The 17th Ranger Battalion will conduct offensive operations throughout the AO to eliminate remaining resistance forces and destroy enemy military presence operating within the UN-controlled corridor.

American forces will establish dominance throughout the region and prevent the survival of any organized opposition capable of threatening Operation Heaven's Fall.
