Players Responsibilities / Expectations

  • All Members should verify that their game is up to date and they have the correct mods selected as listed in the event details if necessary prior to connecting to the server to avoid any delays
  • When joining an event, players will refrain from communicating over TS (Teamspeak) until they are in game and TFAR has activated or as such pre-designated discussions are being held. (Briefings, Server Join Information, Announcements, Etc.)
  • Any unauthorized use of friendly or enemy assets including but not limited to air, land, and sea vehicles is strictly forbidden. Permission must be granted from the current command element. If command is unavailable permission may be obtained from the HQ command or higher.
  • Using a slot when joining that is not your own assignment is not allowed. If the player feels that they need to fill that specialty they must ask permission and be acknowledged by a commanding representative before doing so. Failure to acknowledge this rule may result in another player's inability to fill a role they are authorized to take and weaken the battle-readiness of the group.
  • The player placed in charge of a contract/role will remain in that position unless relieved from that duty by mutual consent or disconnection.
  • Members who are unconscious due to game engagement should not utilize the respawn button with the exception that an individual is bugged and cannot be recovered due to game logic, they have followed established Echo SOP regarding flight crew code of conduct, or under explicit direction of a Medic in field per 68W SOP. Medical is a part of the gameplay and members should not take away from that aspect of the game. (All respawns are logged).
  • Unit Leads will refrain from relieving Team Leads of their duties mid-operation unless deemed necessary.
  • All players will don the appropriate load outs during all 17th Ranger Battalion events.
    • All players will load their briefing kits during AAR’s. All Players may wear their loadouts during pre-operation briefings with guns on their back.
      • Pilot Helmets will be removed for all mission briefings and AAR’s (After Action Report) for any and all events.
      • All other kits will be donned in direct relation to the player slot chosen at the time of entry to the game unless otherwise specified by an NCO or otherwise designated Fire Team Leader.
