Trainer Expectations

  • Trainers are expected to post training and qualification events following the Calendar Event Policies 
  • Trainers are expected to train via the established training documentation and not by memory.
  • Trainers should not post a training they are unable to make or do not have a backup trainer who can cover for them.
  • Trainers should be available with reasonable time prior to their scheduled event to make sure necessary setup is complete before their event starts so as to not keep trainees waiting.
  • Trainers should make reasonable accommodations either by delaying the start for a short amount of time, or rescheduling for another time, for individuals who give notice; either by reaching out directly or by commenting on the event; that they are not going to make it or will be late with the understanding that excessive tardiness, by a trainee, will not hold up any training for individuals who showed up on time.
  • Trainers should allow 15 min post event start time (with no communication from individuals who may be running late or no show) before Canceling an event if there are no participants.
