Removal Reason - Self-depart / resign

  • Members returning to the community who have previously left without notice or reason will not be reinstated and must accept that they will be rejoining the community as a new recruit.
  • Members who have left due to real life obligations (Military, Starting a Family, Relocating, New Career, Etc.) may be allowed partial reinstatement once the following has been satisfied:
  • Members have a good standing in the community and were active in the community prior to their departure.
    • Members have clearly indicated that they are going to be gone longer than a Leave of Absence allows.
    • Members provide a clear reason that they are leaving and wish to rejoin at a future date prior to leaving.
  • Members who are reinstated after departing will be returned to enlisted rank with awards and skills restored (upon leadership approval); however any qualifications will be removed and will have to be re-earned.
  • Members who have been previously reinstated may be denied a future reinstatement due to that member not being held to any other requirements during their time out of the unit.
