    • A member who is qualified in another company
    • Any other member who shows interest
    • Dual-roles:

There is an important distinction to be made between "Community" roles and "Operational" roles. This is outlined in Battalion Roles.

    • No single person may hold more than one activeoperational role within thean official operation.
    • This means a medic is not a squad leader, aan sapperEOD is not a pilot, an auto-rifleman areis not AT,a MAT gunner, etc.
    • Milsim is a team activity, one single person doing more than one thing takes away from the rest of the group.
    • Any Iceberg Member playing in a 17th Ranger Battalion Operation will be limited to fire team roles unless specified by Leadership for that operation.
