Execution:

Rangers have been tasked with clearing all OPFOR out of marked areas while also searching for HVTs (Capture/Kill). At the same time, all and any explosives spotted within the region need to be neutralized. The 17th will step off from FOB Python which is a few KM's east of the AO. Initially, Echo will insert Alpha via Chinooks while also sling loading MRZRs for Rangers to utilize throughout the operation. Rangers will go objective to objective via MRZR, all squads will have different dismounts, creating different angles of attack and also ensuring not all vehicles/personal are in one location. Depending on progress speed, a hard/soft clear will be called on the fly. Al Tabqah is the overall goal for the night, which will be a hard clear.

Objectives:

    • {Placeholder}Clear all suburbs of OPFOR
    • Hard clear Al Tabqah
Disarm or destroy all explosive devices to render the city safe for its citizens

          CONOP:

          • Phase 0: Connect to Operations Server

            • Server will be going live earlier than normal to allow RRC to step off early and for Echo to organize vehicles. Everyone else will load in 15 minutes prior UNLESS told otherwise

            Phase I: Brief

Mission Maker/BCO will open up with a general briefing, followed by Alpha, Echo, and RRC with their overall movements

              Phase II: Prep

Conduct final preparation and last second planning. Make adjustments to the primary assault plan based on info from RRC. Rangers will then board their vehicles and move towards the contested South Western region

                Phase III: Suburban Clearing

Rangers will utilize MRZRs to travel between OBJs, while mainly clearing OPFOR out of the areas, Rangers should also be on the lookout for any HVTs potentially not being in the main town. During this time the 17th will also be tasked wit clearing out any located explosives in the region

Phase IV: OBJ Eagle (Al Tabqah)

Rangers are tasked with HARD CLEARING Al Tabqah, in the event HVTs are not located in previous OBJs, it can be highly expected to contain whomever is not located. As well as the prior objectives, the 17th will need to defuse/destroy any located IEDs to ensure civilian/self safety. In the event progress is not moving at an ideal pace, the town will shift from a hard clear to a soft clear.
