Situation:

After a successful beach landing and logistical operation, 17th forces have now gained control over the South East corner of Altis including a small airfield. From here there is an opportunity to make a decisive push to the Salt Flats area of interest. The Salt Flats are home to the "American Economic Interest Zone" which is currently under control of the Altis government and is currently being fortified by AAF forces in anticipation of a coming attack. In addition to this, a considerable amount of AAF armor has been moved into the AO to create a defensive line intended to repel the invading US force.

Civilian Considerations:

Rapid evacuations have taken place in the nearby area. Expect some civilians remaining in residential areas, though due to the mission there will be little contact with these areas. Within the American Economic Interest Zone there is still the presence of American workers who are currently being detained within the area. 

Mission:

Push through the AAF defensive line and reach the American Economic Interest Zone. Upon reaching the zone, drive out the AAF occupation and secure the civilian workers being held there.

Execution:

17th forces will be deploying from the Pyrgos military base and pushing though the route shown in image 1 to the American Economic Interest Zone, where they will proceed to clear the industrial area, and secure the civilians being held by AAF forces. Additionally, stay vigilant for the potential of an AAF counter offensive during the raid on the American Economic Interest Zone.

  • Rescue hostages held within the American Economic Interest Zone.
  • Destroy any counter offensive sent by the AAF
