Situation
{Placeholder}The 17th Ranger Battalion was originally scheduled to rotate home from an extended tour in Fallujah. However, an unexpected event has thrown us into an unfamiliar reality. While onboard a C-130 en route home, our transport was suddenly struck by an unknown force. The plane went down, and we were forced to crash-land. When we regained consciousness, we found ourselves aboard the USS Freedom and its Task Force, poised to launch an invasion on the coastal region of Al Rayak, currently held by CSAT forces.
Though our memories remain clouded and fragmented, it is clear that the chain of events has placed us in a new world, a world embroiled in a conflict unlike any we’ve known. The Task Force we are now part of, including the formidable Helldivers, is on a mission to liberate the region and install a system of Managed Democracy—an ideal that seems to mirror our own values but is crucial to understanding how we may potentially return to our world.
We have been tasked with leading this offensive operation against CSAT, with the hope that our success will not only liberate the people of Al Rayak but also unravel the mysterious forces that have bound us to this strange land. The question remains: can we return home, or are we destined to reshape this world with our fight for freedom?

Forces in Play:
Opfor:
{Placeholder}CSAT - Europe
Most Likely Course of Action:
Defense of held positions and repulsion of BLUFOR
Most Deadly Course of Action:
Counterattack in force to crush the beachhead and prevent establishment of FOBs
Civilian Considerations:
Present throughout the AO. Any injured civilians are to be medically treated using BASIC BANDAGES. All civilian vehicles and dwellings are to be spared when at all possible. Killing civilians, destroying their property, or not treating them will give rise to potential IEDs and rebel forces arrayed against us.
POW's:
Any and all POWs are to be sought when a location has been captured. A killed POW has the same effect as a killed civilian. First use a ZIPTIE on surrendered forces, then use ACE interact to move the prisoner and transport them to a FOB main building.

Execution:
The 17th Ranger Battalion, in coordination with Task Force Helldivers, will carry out a full-scale invasion of CSAT-occupied Al Rayak. Our primary objective is to disrupt CSAT communications, seize critical infrastructure, and establish a series of forward operating bases to ensure the safe entry of additional forces in SECTOR KUROGANE PASS. The operation will involve a series of tactical strikes to weaken CSAT’s hold on the region and provide a foothold for Managed Democracy to take root.
Our actions will focus on disabling key communication hubs, capturing vital resource points, and securing control over essential infrastructure to bring about the region’s liberation. Ultimately, our success here may hold the key to returning home or establishing a permanent foothold in this world, with the potential to influence global geopolitics.
