Mission:
Execution:
We have finally arrived at the operation most people have been expecting. Once we land behind enemy lines, we will be searching for an extremely deadly device held by the MLF within their Northwestern Region. We don’t expect them to hand it over lightly, and we should be prepared for a counter-assault once the primary objective is secured. In the worst case we should be prepared for the MLF to enact a Scorched Earth policy in an effort to stop their weapon falling into enemy hands.
Objectives:
{Placeholder}OBJ Venus - Port of Terra Ceia - Contains POI John & POI Peter
- OBJ Mars - Town outside of Port - Contains POI James
All POI’s are potential spots where the “Device” could be held, each will be swept (until device is located)
Alpha
Clear/Control the Terra Ceia Port and the adjacent town
Locate and disable the deadly “Device” MLF is hiding
Echo
Insert Rangers into AO and provide JIP service throughout operation
Utilize CAS assets to ensure support on primary assaults
RRC
Locate and secure a suitable LZ for Rangers to be inserted
Attempt to locate the “Device”
Provide forward reconnaissance of Battalion maneuvers
CONOP:
-
Phase 0: Connect to Operations Server
- Server will be going live earlier than normal to allow RRC to step off early and for Echo to organize vehicles. Everyone else will load in 15 minutes prior UNLESS told otherwise
Phase I: Brief
Mission Maker/BCO will open up with a general briefing, followed by Alpha, Echo, and RRC with their overall movements
Phase II: Prep
Conduct final preparation and last second planning. Make adjustments to the primary assault plan based on info from RRC.
Phase III: Conduct Initial Assault
Joint Assault will be conducted by Alpha and Echo to secure the MLF Device.
Phase IV: “Device” Secured
Device is secured and in friendly hands, either extracted or disabled depending on the viability of options.
Phase V: Reaction
We suspect a counter assault will occur after the device is secure, and will standby to react accordingly.
Phase VI: RP/AAR
-
All units prepare for debrief.
Additional:
In the case that the unknown device is activated, designated rally points for all surviving personnel will be at FOB Laurel and Airbase Rassa
In the event the device is secured, main priority is to destroy/neutralize it
We suspect MLF will receive PLA support ; be cautious of an additional force entering the AO
In the event the device happens to take out communications, we will gather forces closer together and defend
In the event the device ruins NVG capabilities, everyone is required to have a SUREFIRE FLASHLIGHT (From SMA)
