After our decisive action in the north, the insurgents are gathering for a final stand in the south. A large number of insurgents have stormed into the city of Qalandar, rounding up the civilians and constructing heavy fortifications. There has also been an increase in insurgent movement across the entirety of South Anizay as they are forced out of the northern regions.

Insurgents have gathered civilians in Qalandar in one area and are using them as shields to prevent strikes against their mortar position. The rest of Anizay has civilian activity as normal.

The 17th is tasked with liberating Qalandar and evacuating the civilians held captive there. Afterwards they are to sweep the nearby areas of Akhunds Oilfield, Akhund, Asadis Oil, and Kaza, to prevent insurgent movement and trap them in the South West corner of Anizay.

The 17th may use methods of their choosing to complete the mission, starting with the siege of Qalandar. All civilians recovered from Qalandar are to be evacuated to the airfield or FOB. Step off from both airfield and FOB are available at request.
