Opord
Situation
Following the pyrrhic victory at Al Tabqah, the 17th Ranger Battalion has withdrawn and regrouped at FOB Echo. While the port has been effectively neutralized and CSAT's coastal logistics crippled, the loss of Alpha Company at the Presidential Palace and the widespread destruction have left Al Tabqah in contested chaos.
CSAT, under the strategic guidance of Shapur Pai—and possibly the elusive Man in Black—has shifted its focus to the northeastern region of Al Rayak. Surveillance has confirmed the expansion of hardened positions around the Al Rayak Airfield, and chatter indicates preparations for an incoming high-value transport. If CSAT is allowed to entrench here, they may regain long-range strike capability or deploy new prototype assets tied to Tyrone’s influence.
To preempt this, the 17th will launch a high-risk “Kessel Run” convoy operation deep into enemy territory. An armored force from Echo Company, augmented by elements of the 9th Commandos, will advance from FOB Echo, maneuvering south of Incirkli and bypassing Al Kuna to strike the airfield directly. A series of radio towers must be seized along the route to disrupt CSAT’s battlefield awareness and prevent rapid QRF deployment.
Intel indicates the region is laced with EW nodes, hardened defenses, and drone overwatch. The enemy is increasingly coordinated, with signs of strategic-level interference from CSAT’s central command—likely orchestrated by the same unseen hand that led to the trap at Al Tabqah and the failed River FOB convoy.
This week’s operations will be about speed, misdirection, and decisive strikes. The battalion must break through enemy lines, secure the route, and strike a blow at the heart of CSAT's remaining airpower and infrastructure.
Area of Operation (AO):
Forces in Play:
Opfor:
- CSAT - Europe
Most Likely Course of Action:
Defense in place where possible.
Most Deadly Course of Action:
Naval interception or massed air attack to counteract SAM batteries.
Civilian Considerations:
Limited presence except near Al Kuna.
Local sentiment has improved and the route should be clear.
POW's:
Any and all POWs are to be sought when a location has been captured. A killed POW has the same effect as a killed civilian. First use a ZIPTIE on surrendered forces, then use ACE interact to move the prisoner and transport them to a FOB main building. THIS MUST BE A PRIORITY LOGI TASK! No POWs are to be left for pickup as they despawn. Best efforts shall be made to arrange pickup or keep POWs with the unit until pickup can be arranged especially at the airfield.

Weekly Operational Plan for Sector Swordfish
- 24/7 Operations
- Conduct disruption raids across southern Sector Swordfish to harass CSAT supply routes and delay reinforcement patterns
- Gather real-time reconnaissance on terrain, enemy staging points, and potential ambush zones along the convoy’s projected route
- Secure staging lanes from FOB Echo to the southern approach of Incirkli to facilitate armored movement
- Identify and mark electronic warfare nodes or hardened radio tower defenses for coordinated takedowns
- Maintain pressure on nearby settlements to reduce CSAT’s civilian influence and readiness across the region
- Midweek Objectives
- Seize three radio towers south of the planned convoy route to disrupt CSAT early-warning systemss
- Liberate the regional capital of Incirkli to fracture CSAT regional command structure.
