Situation:

Due to a mission failure last week and the launch of multiple SCUD missiles following RRC's operation chemical gas has spread over the entirety of the AO. Any civilians in the area are surely dead and most of the enemy has evacuated or perished along with the civilians.

All that's left to do is clear out any remaining enemies who believe they can still fight from the AO and then evacuate.

Remaining enemy forces are cleared from the AO.

Most Deadly Course of Action:

Friendly forces are held back and have to attempt to keep fighting. The worst outcome has already happened.

  • 9th Air Commando Group

Engagement Criteria:

Open fire on any armed individual.


Mission:

Execution:

The battalion will perform a static line jump into the AO and may only move on foot from then on. The AO is considered unsafe for most assets.

Objectives:
  1. OBJ Ragnarok
    • Clear area of all enemy forces.
    • Search for GPS jammers and destroy them.
CONOP:
  • Phase 0:
    • Final loadout checks.

  • Phase 1: Briefing
    • Cover static line jumping. Stress steerable parachutes.

  • Phase 3: Preparation
    • Assign jump numbers and mount the aircraft.
  • Phase 4: OBJ Ragnarok
    • Deploy into the AO and clear it of enemy forces. Destroy GPS jammers.
  • Phase 5: RP/AAR
    • All units prepare for debrief.

Timeline (in CST):

18:45 - Organize units and kit up.
19:00 - Operation briefing.
19:15 - Operation start.
22:30 - All OBJ cleared, prepare for AAR.


Command & Signal:

Long Range Frequencies:
  • Refer to the Commo Card.
Non-verbal Communication (Smoke):
  • Green: This is used to mark friendly positions on the field.
  • Blue: Marking suitable locations for Landing Zones.
  • Red: This is used for marking enemy positions for all units to reference.
  • Yellow: This is used to inform friendly forces that Immediate medical support is needed.
  • Orange: This tells anyone in the air that a friendly unit is in desperate need of resupply.
  • Purple: This color represents a friendly position with enemy units danger close.
    • Anyone outside of 100 meters away from the smoke should be assumed hostile.
