Opord
Situation
The situation in the archipelago has seen little to no improvement. An HVT has been causing friction between all OPFOR factions and has taken refuge in the heavily defended Southern city of Le Port. In order to put a stop to this, the HVT must be captured.
(Time - Early Morning)
Area of Operation (AO):
South Malden - Le Port
Forces in Play:
Opfor:
- Malden Defense Force
- Koljugev Defense Force
- Russian Federation
Blufor:
- 17th Ranger Battalion "Iceberg's Battalion"
- 2nd Battalion, 7th Marines "War Dogs
Civilian Considerations:
Civilians have been warned they need to evacuate. If they haven't and/or are present during the operation, that's on them.
Engagement Criteria:
Fire at will.
Enemy forces will put up a strong defence of the city, allowing time for the HVT to escape the archipelago and cause further issues.
Enemy forces will completely prevent the 17th from entering Le Port, allowing the HVT to continue his activities and potentially stage an overwhelming counter-attack against the 17th.
Mission:
The 17th will leave the North-Eastern Airfield by MH-6M and perform an air assault at an LZ designated by RRC. Once deployed, Alpha will assault the city of Le Port with support from all Echo assets and search for the HVT to capture him.
Execution:
RRC will deploy prior to the assault in order to locate an appropriate LZ for the main force. Echo assets will be ready to provide support against any enemy assets.
Objectives:
-
- POI Citrus/POI Zest
SDVs are to be sling-loaded and carried closer to the AO. Using the SDVs, Stalker will recon both POI Citrus and POI Zest to determine which is the most appropriate LZ for the main air assault. - OBJ Sour
Somewhere within the AO there is an HVT that must be located and captured. Phantom will approach the heavily defended city from the designated LZ with the support of Echo Air and Ground assets.
- IF THE HVT ATTEMPTS TO ESCAPE AND PREVENTION IS NOT POSSIBLE, lethal force will be permitted.
