Civilian Considerations:
Mission:
Execution:
a. Concept of Operations:
Phase 1 - Approach to Contact:
The QRF will move towards LAR units postion, clearing and securing the main routes into the city. The unit will conduct a rapid assault through the city's southern sector to break through enemy positions and establish a foothold.
Coordination with available aviation support for reconnaissance and Close Air Support (CAS) will be key in clearing enemy strongholds.
Phase 2 - Relief and Assault:
Once contact is made with the Marine LAR unit, the QRF will establish a secure perimeter. The Marines will provide covering fire while Army elements extract casualties and secure the area.
Combat engineers will clear any roadblocks and breach any enemy defensive positions. Reconnaissance drones (if available) will be used to track enemy movement in and around the city.
Medical teams will be deployed to treat casualties and evacuate the wounded to a safe location.
Phase 3 - Exfiltration:
After securing the Marine LAR element, Army units will transport Marines via armored vehicles to the designated exfiltration point or rally point, avoiding any known enemy-held areas.
A continuous defense will be maintained to prevent enemy reinforcements from disrupting the exfiltration. If needed, air support will be called in to neutralize key enemy positions.
b. Tasks:
QRF Commander: Lead the operation, manage communications with Marine command, and coordinate the movement of all Army units. Ensure rapid deployment of security elements and medical teams.
Combat Engineers: Clear obstacles, breach enemy defenses, and clear any IEDs or booby traps along the route.
Medical Teams: Extract and stabilize Marine casualties, performing medical treatment in the field as necessary.
Security Elements: Establish and maintain defensive positions around the Marine unit to prevent enemy engagement. Provide cover during the extraction.
Aviation Support (if available): Provide overwatch, surveillance, and Close Air Support (CAS) for suppression of enemy forces.
COMMANDER’S INTENT
Our primary goal is to regain control of Fallujah and neutralize all hostile forces while preserving infrastructure and minimizing civilian casualties. Success in this operation will significantly weaken the enemy's influence in the region, providing us with an opportunity to establish a lasting peacekeeping presence. Focus on teamwork, communication, and the careful identification of targets to ensure mission success.
Rules of Engagement
Use the minimum force necessary to secure objectives.
Be aware of civilian presence in all sectors; minimize collateral damage and work to restore order immediately after each successful objective capture.
Any military-age male identified as carrying weapons should be Considered Hostile
Hostile fire will be met with return fire, but identification of threats should be confirmed before engaging.
