Engagement Criteria:


Mission:

17th Forces will perform a paradrop into the AO to eliminate the enemy presence and destroy any radio jammers in the area.

Execution:

ALPHA COMPANY: Provide a force to paradrop, and seize required areas. PSI will attach to A Company and will act as directed by A Co leadership.


ECHO COMPANY:

Provide airframes for Rangers to jump into the AO

Provide ground and air support for Rangers on the ground

Objectives:

CONOP:

  • Phase 0: Load-in/prep

    • Alpha will load in and prepare kits
    • Echo will load vehicles with the necessary equipment and get ready
  • Phase I: Brief

    • Briefing to be given by company leaders.
  • Phase II: Prep

    • Alpha will load into their respective vehicles and get ready to lift
  • Phase III: Area Corona

    • Alpha Company will Static line jump into DZ Ostrich, regroup, and seize the town of Zelenogorsk within Area Corona
  • Phase IV: Area Budweiser

    • Alpha company will move north from Area Corona, with any support from Echo and PSI. Area Budweiser has military targets in the towns of Rogovo, Pogorevka, Pulkovo, and the surrounding woods. Eliminate enemy presence in these locations.
  • Phase V: Regroup and Extract

    • If 17th forces have eliminated all contact in the area, call for extraction.
    • If radio calls for extraction go unanswered, proceed to the last known radio uncontested area, and request extraction from there.
    • If such a place is prohibitively far for units to travel to, Three green flares launched simultaneously will signal a need for extraction.
  • Phase VI: RP/AAR

    • All units prepare for debrief.

Nonverbal Coordination:

  • Green: This is used to mark friendly positions on the field.
  • Blue: Marking suitable locations for Landing Zones.
  • Red: This is used for marking enemy positions for all units to reference.
  • Yellow: This is used to inform friendly forces that Immediate medical support is needed.
  • Purple: This color represents a friendly position with enemy units danger close, Anyone outside of 100 meters away from the smoke should be assumed hostile.
  • Orange: This tells anyone in the air that a friendly unit is in desperate need of resupply.
