Situation:

The Republic of Chernarus has been given a deadline of 22 April to dismantle its military dictatorship and reestablish a democratic government. They are expected to miss the 22 April deadline. Once the deadline is missed, U.S. forces will invade Chernarus to depose of its military leadership and oversee the installation of government.

The 17th Ranger Battalion will follow Marines into a beachhead on the North Eastern shore of Chernarus. Upon landing, 17th will conduct assaults on nearby garrisons and military installations to gain a foothold in the area.

Civilian Considerations:

  • Civilians may still be in the region but have been warned to evacuate. Civilian infrastructure should be preserved but can be engaged if occupied by enemy forces.

Mission:

Conduct an Amphibious landing near the port section of Berezino, then head Northwest to secure a nearby airfield and its adjacent town. Destroy all military installations.

Execution:

Deploy Alpha with boats from the USS Liberty. Echo has many air assets to deploy from the USS Freedom and may sling-rope ground vehicles into the AO within reason. Following the amphibious assault, Alpha may proceed on foot to further objectives or use ground vehicles brought in by Echo.

Echo has a forward zone, approximately 5km from the beach landing zone, where they may spawn extra ground vehicles to sling to the AO. Four IFVs are already prepared at the forward zone.
