OPERATION HEAVEN'S FALL

WARNO 07 – FINAL APPROACH

Date:
30 June 2026

Time:
1200 Local (Midday)

Weather:
Clear skies. Excellent visibility. Ideal flying and combat conditions expected throughout the operation.

Situation

Following the success of Operation Manhunt, organized resistance throughout southern Niakala has nearly collapsed.

The remaining leadership of the Kujari Defense Force has been eliminated, and German advisory elements operating alongside them have suffered catastrophic losses.

Unable to maintain a coherent defensive line, the Bundeswehr has withdrawn its surviving combat forces to the Southern German Airbase, establishing what is believed to be their final major stronghold within the region.

Pentastar reconnaissance confirms extensive defensive preparations around the installation.

Enemy commanders appear determined to hold the airbase at all costs.

Its capture would eliminate Germany's ability to conduct sustained military operations throughout southern Niakala and secure complete American control of the region.

This is expected to be the largest engagement since the Battle of Lawan Aridi.

Enemy Forces

OPFOR

Bundeswehr Expeditionary Forces

The airbase is defended by the remaining combat power available to German forces in southern Niakala.

Expect:

  • Mechanized infantry.
  • Heavy armored vehicles.
  • Entrenched defensive positions.
  • Anti-armor teams.
  • Fortified bunkers.
  • Quick Reaction Forces.

Enemy resistance is expected to be extremely heavy.

German Air Assets

Enemy rotary-wing aircraft remain operational.

Expect:

  • Attack helicopters.
  • Utility helicopters transporting reinforcements.
  • Armed reconnaissance aircraft.

Enemy aviation will likely respond rapidly once the assault begins.

Enemy Air Defense

Intelligence confirms the presence of an operational Surface-to-Air Missile (SAM) Site protecting the airbase.

The SAM system must be destroyed to permit unrestricted friendly air operations.

Indirect Fire Threat

Enemy artillery remains capable of supporting defensive operations around the airfield.

Prepare for sustained indirect fire during the assault.

Friendly Forces

BLUFOR

17th Ranger Battalion

Primary assault force.

Responsible for seizing the airbase.

Echo Company

Mechanized spearhead.

Responsible for breaching enemy defensive positions and defeating armored resistance.

Pentastar Elite

Supporting reconnaissance, intelligence gathering, and precision strike coordination.

FOB Sharecroppers

Primary staging base for the operation.

Civilian Considerations

Civilian presence around the objective is expected to be minimal.

The area has largely been converted into a fortified military installation.

Mission

The 17th Ranger Battalion will conduct a deliberate assault against the Southern German Airbase.

Friendly forces will destroy enemy defensive positions, eliminate armored resistance, neutralize the enemy SAM site, and seize complete control of the installation.

The capture of the airbase will conclude major combat operations within southern Niakala.

Execution

Phase I – Neutralize Air Defenses

Locate and destroy the enemy SAM site.

Suppress enemy observation posts and early warning positions.

Phase II – Breach the Perimeter

Mechanized forces will breach the outer defenses.

Infantry elements will clear bunkers, trenches, and fortified positions.

Destroy enemy armored vehicles encountered during the assault.

Phase III – Secure the Airbase

Clear all hangars, maintenance facilities, control towers, and support buildings.

Eliminate remaining resistance.

Raise American control over the installation.

Commander's Intent

The enemy has nowhere left to run.

We broke their army.

We hunted their leaders.

We drove them from every position they attempted to hold.

Now they make their final stand.

Behind concrete.

Behind armor.

Behind the walls of their airbase.

Today we end Germany's presence in southern Niakala.

Destroy the SAM site.

Break their armor.

Seize the airfield.

Leave them no runway from which to return.

Objectives

🟥 Destroy the German SAM Site.

🟧 Destroy German armored forces.

🟨 Eliminate enemy helicopter support.

🟩 Capture the Southern German Airbase.

⬛ Establish complete American control of the installation.

Intelligence Summary

The Southern German Airbase represents the last major German stronghold in southern Niakala.

Victory here will conclude the southern Niakala campaign and open the door to the next phase of Operation Heaven's Fall.
