Date:

Time:
08:45 (load-in in-game time)
Weather:
Clear
Situation:
The latest development involves an increased build up of armored and mechanized forces traveling down the M13 highway, the main supply route into Farabad. The more pressing matter comes from intelligence confirming the transportation of a nuclear warhead being staged at a supply depot at Al Nazara. The enemy have begun activating long range Surface-Air-Missile sites to protect the area along the M13, validating our concerns about the presence of the warhead. Denying Res Publica and the Farabad Regional Army from being able to activate this WMD is now our top priority. Additional heavy ground assets are being authorized to mobilize for this operation and have been airlifted via C-17 onto Farabad Airport.
Area of Operation (AO):
Forces in Play:
OPFOR:
- Res Publica (RP)
- Composition: motorized, mechanized, armored
- Farabad Regional Army (FRA)
- Composition: mechanized, armored
Most Likely Course of Action:
All units make it across the river and successfully push north. All areas secured and the nuclear warhead is located and recovered.
Most Deadly Course of Action:
Battalion is held back and the warhead is not-recoverable. RP and FRA hide or utilize the warhead.
BLUFOR:
- 17th Ranger Battalion
- 9th Air Commando Group
- Insurgency Fighters - Children of Azar (COA)
- Underequipped, using mostly repurposed Land Rovers and Hiluxes.
- Underequipped, using mostly repurposed Land Rovers and Hiluxes.
Engagement Criteria:
The region is an active combat zone with civilians present throughout the region. Avoid causing unnecessary damage to non-military targets and do not fire up unarmed individuals. The Children of Azar would benefit from increased numbers to join their ranks throughout this campaign.
Mission:
Execution:
Launching operations will be conducted from Farabad International Airport. ACE-Fortify will be activated on engineer vehicles to allow construction of makeshift bridges.
Command has recommended an infantry paradrop be conducted across the west side of the Sharif River in order to help expedite troop movements across the river, buying time for heavy armor to repair any bridges in their route and arrive to assist the infantry. SEAD will be conducted from 09:00 to 09:30, giving an opportunity for a paradrop to occur within a 30 minute window by forcing the enemy to deactivate their SAM platforms.
