Situation:

After heavy fighting in the early morning on March 7th, the 17th Rangers and 9th ACG have successfully driven Res Publica forces back and captured Larseng Airbase. Engineers have already established infrastructure for us to conduct operations from Larseng Airbase. Ulvik Port is a key infrastructure for Res Publica, being used to help refine their chemical agents. Much of the material is stored at several storage silos at Ulvik. Latest reconnaissance indicates heavy activity at Ulvik throughout the day, with trucks siphoning as much material as they can from the silos.

Two enemy destroyers, RPN Fractal and RPN Shard, have been detected launching from Nervei Port and have moved into an attack posture against our fleet. They are being supported by enemy fixed and rotary wing. Capture of Stordal Airport, destruction of the enemy fleet, and seizing Nervei Port will be the next steps in the operation.

Most Likely Course of Action:

The battalion is able to defuse explosive at Ulvik Port and then assist friendly forces across the region, pushing Res Publica into a corner.

Most Deadly Course of Action:

Explosive charges in Ulvik Port detonate and release deadly chemicals. The entire friendly fleet is sunk and the entire region must be evacuated.

Engagement Criteria:

Engage any armed individuals.

Above all else, damage to the infrastructure of Ulvik Port is not permitted due to the presence of refinery silos containing chemical agents. LHD Cold Harbor will be deploying troops onto Ulvik once it is secured by Rangers.

Mission:

Execution:

RRC will deploy 1 hour early into the central mountain range to hunt for enemy AA vehicles and a jamming device. It is essential that these are all disabled/destroyed.

Air assaults will take place along the coastal towns and POIs. Demolition charges must be defused at Ulvik Port (This is a priority objective) before following air assaults in other areas to assist friendly forces. Echo fixed-wing remain clear of the enemy fleet should not attack until they are cleared to do so following completion of OBJ Sword.

Objectives:

1. Central Mountains
   
   • RRC to deploy via chinook carrying dirt bikes and destroy enemy AA vehicles and a jammer.
     • Radios and drones will not work in the region until the jammer is removed.
2. OBJ Axe
   
   • Secure Ulvik Port and defuse any explosive charges placed on the Storage Silos.
3. OBJ Sword
   • Assist Charlie and Delta Companies of 12th AC to seize Helbotn Village.
     
4. OBJ Spear
   • Seize Stordal Airport and aid our fleet as needed.
     • Echo fixed-wing to be tasked with disabling the enemy fleet's weapons.
5. OBJ Mace
   • Capture Nervei Port and the surrounding town. Defend against potential counterattack from Hansvoll.
     
     • Resupply if needed and find secure areas to defend along the southern side of town.

CONOP:

• Phase 0: RRC

  • 1 hour before main operation start.
  • Qualified RRC team to deploy and destroy enemy AA and jammer. Radios and drones will be disabled.

  • Cover the plan and any final gear checks.

  • Secure the port and defuse all explosives on the storage silos.

  • Assist friendlies to seize the town.

• Phase 6: OBJ Spear

  • Seize the airport and assist the fleet.
    • Echo fixed-wing to destroy enemy fleet weapons and perform CAP.

• Phase 7: OBJ Mace

  • Capture Nervei Port and the nearby town. Defend from potential counter attack in the south.

• Phase 8: RP/AAR

  • Units will RTB or remain in the town (time dependent) and debrief.
