Situation
Coalition forces have reformed along the new frontline and have stalled the main Ultranationalist advance, but the largest threat still remains the Ultranationalist units behind coalition lines. The 17th has been ordered to retake the Marlov island, which had been seized by an air and marine assault. Following this, the 17th is to destroy suspected guerilla hideouts/staging points in central Yulakia.

Most Likely Course of Action: Enemies shall present themselves in a fixed defense, with likely booby traps to cause casualties as the Rangers assault their positions. Rudimentary QRF forces may be on call.
Most Deadly Course of Action: Enemies prepare a mobile defense with channelizing obstacle systems to fix rangers in place and prevent the effective massing of assault fires onto relevant objectives.
Civilian Considerations: Civilians are present in the AO and have been instructed not to take up arms. Fire on any armed, un-uniformed personnel.

Mission:
17th Ranger BN will conduct search and destroy operations on the Island of Marlov, when completed, The Bn will redeploy to Central Yulakia and destroy additional Guerilla hideouts.
Execution:
Rangers will conduct Static Line jumps onto Marlov Island, and conduct hasty search and destroy operations, Alpha company will be supported by Echo company and RZRS to enable freedom of movement through the island. After search and destroy operations are complete, All ground units will be Exfiled to Obj Bombay To conduct follow on operations at Central Yulakia. Intelligence Indicates that there may be guerilla ammo caches and leadership in these areas, care should be taken to neutralize both. Intelligence also indicates that there may be intel and Prisoners of War, Care should be taken to recover these if seen.

Phase III: Actions on Marlov
- Alpha company, supported by Echo company will conduct a hasty search of the island, destroying any resistance they find from Guerilla forces occupying the island. Once command elements deem this done, 2x Chinook Helicopters will collect all ground units for redeployment to follow on objectives.

Phase IV: OBJ Bombay

- Rangers will arrive at OBJ Bombay via Chinook, and set up security around the perimeter before any friendly forces enter the cave system.
- Pathfinder elements will be preparing the next LZ’s inside of OBJ bulldog as the rest of the rangers focus on OBJ Bombay.
- Once complete, forces will exfil via chinook and move to Bulldog
- Rangers will arrive at OBJ Bombay via Chinook, and set up security around the perimeter before any friendly forces enter the cave system.

Phase V: OBJ Bulldog
- Rangers will prioritize the elimination of the suspected guerilla camp within the Lartian Tomb. After the successful neutralization of this obj, Rangers will make a hasty search through the rest of the area within the OBJ AO, once complete, Rangers will exfil from the AO to the airbase for AAR.
