Situation:

Ultranationalists have launched a major anti-shipping attack against the coalition carrier group. The attack was carried out using old AGM-84 and KH-22 Air-launched missiles combined with land-based DF-21A missiles. The 17th has been tasked with rapidly deploying to suspected launch sites and destroying as many DF-21A platforms as possible. After this has been completed, destruction of the port near Komatin has been given the highest priority.
Wartime news:
  • The coalition coalition group has taken to open sea to defend against further anti-shipping attacks. The Mistral was damaged by a KH-22 and towed to port for repairs.
  • Polish troops have failed to encircle Blavtarov. A battle for attrition is beginning over crucial town.
  • Coalition military police battalions have begun reinforcing back-line towns, especially in territory formerly held by Ultranationalists.
  • U.S. Army investigators are looking into a friendly fire incident where a Loyalist platoon opened fire on a French unit returning from the frontlines.
  • A naval blockade has been established to prevent Russian cargo from reaching Yulakia. The blockade is accompanied with a no-fly zone over the region.
  • Ultranationalist aircraft are resurging attempts to maintain temporary air superiority and conduct pop-up attacks against coalition forces.
  • An Ultranationalist car bomb detonated in Sveti Peral, killing two Marines and a soldier from the 95th Civil Affairs Brigade.

Mission:

  • Search and destroy DF-21A launchers and missiles
  • Seize the port near Komatin
    • Document any supplies at the port before destruction. Do not destroy Western assets, if any.
    • Do not fire on Russian personnel at or near the port.

Execution:

17th RBN will deploy via method(s) of HHC's choosing and assault DF-21A launch sites in any order. The 17th should destroy DF-21A launchers first to prevent additional launches before assaulting the port.
