Mission:

The 17th Ranger Battalion has been tasked to conduct flanking maneuvers deep into enemy territory to seize a position in Sossana. Creating a Forward Operating Base to enable complex support in follow on operations.

Execution:

FAPOVIAN NATIONAL ARMY:
  • Conduct a diversionary attack on border crossings to enable the 17th to conduct flanking operations.
ALPHA COMPANY:
  • Crew a sufficient number of boats to move to IP Trout
  • Conduct an Amphibious landing on IP Trout
  • Conduct hasty patrol to the town of Viruvitia
  • Conduct Fording operations north of Viruvitia
  • Secure FOB Ross
ECHO COMPANY:
  • Conduct Strikes on MOB Mermaid
  • Support A Co with IFV support, rotary wing support, and Logistical Support.
  • Provide Alpha company Mortar assets to be used on a squad level.
RANGER RECONNAISSANCE COMPANY:
  • Provide a four man strike team to secure MOB Mermaid.
ADMINISTRATIVE AND LOGISTICS
Echo company Is responsible for resupply while in the field.
