Situation:

We have successfully disrupted a significant portion of the BNAs ability to maintain their supply lines overland, however the situation remains critical. Our sole remaining objective; to locate and secure the ICBM launch platforms, has been complicated by the arrival of Russian forces in the AO.

Diplomatic communiques have been passed down indicating that Russian forces were unaware of these launch platforms, or the possession of nuclear payloads by BNA forces. As such Russian cooperation with BNA forces on the island of Altis has been officially disavowed. That said, reconnaissance has shown fleet movements from nearby Russian naval forces, indicating that they may still enact limited force projection onto the island, likely with the intent to secure the ICBMs themselves, Therefore any Russian forces in the AOR remain hostile for all intents and purposes.

AAF Forces remain non-hostile to both NATO and Russian forces, and have indicated that they will nominally cooperate with both parties to the extent of removing the BNA presence from the island, however they will not tolerate actions taken in their major population centers.

We have since located another BNA stronghold near the Almyra salt flats designated OBJ UTAH. The Russians reneging on their support contributions ensured that they are firmly on the back foot, however they are now fully committed. We have seen smaller detachments of the enemy approaching our lines to surrender, but just as many BNA forces remain who will fight to the last.

Civilian Considerations:

Civilians expected in population centers, No combat actions to be taken within major cities IAW Demands from local government.

Mission:

the 17th is being tasked to mobilize and engage the stronghold OBJ UTAH near the Almyra salt flats with the intent of eliminating the position as well as recovering any intelligence or personnel that might indicate where any or all of the launch platforms are hidden.

Priority is to eliminate the enemy, but whenever possible attempt to secure any high-ranking officers or critical personnel alive. Conduct comprehensive SSE on any enemy positions.

OBJ UTAH is strongly supported with what appears to be the enemy's remaining armored contingent, and they will be mobile and moving to support operations in the surrounding area. Armored assets of our own will spearhead the assault.

Objectives:

  • Battalion begins maneuvers at 1430
  • Conduct route clearance along MSR for the bulk of the main force and maneuver to contact IOT initiate assault on OBJ UTAH
  • Neutralize enemy presence in and around OBJ UTAH, conduct SSE, and recover any relevant personnel or materials.
  • Alpha company to secure an HLZ, and extract via air w/ any EPWs to MOB BASEPLATE
  • Echo Company will fall back with all remaining ground elements to MOB BASEPLATE.
  • Debrief and conduct AAR
