Mission:

The 17th will be conducting a predawn paradrop IOT conduct an airborne assault on Obj Sandline, targeting enemy forces Center of gravity. following the assault, Rangers will target OBJ's Pluto, Mercury, and Meteor.

Execution:

ALPHA COMPANY: Provide Rangers to paradrop into the AO.

Conduct assaults on all OBJ's beginning with OBJ Sandline.

Conduct Follow on operations.

ECHO COMPANY:

Provide, and crew platforms for Rangers to Paradrop from.

Give a brief on the proper conduct of paradrop before step off

Provide Logistic support to friendly forces in the AO

Provide ASV and Mortar support to A CO


ADMINISTRATIVE AND LOGISTICS

Presence of Local AAF and Altitian Milita forces possible, disposition unknown at this time.


Civilian presence highly likely in and near population centers, as well as on major roadways. Maintain discretionary fires, no ordnance > .50 Calber permitted within 200m of population areas

  • Blue: Marking suitable locations for Landing Zones.

  • Yellow: This is used to inform friendly forces that Immediate medical support is needed.
  • Purple: This color represents a friendly position with enemy units danger close, Anyone outside of 100 meters away from the smoke should be assumed hostile.
  • Orange: This tells anyone in the air that a friendly unit is in desperate need of resupply.
