Situation

Welcome back rangers. As you may recall, we managed to hit the CSAT bunker line along the west coast pretty hard, but some CSAT forces are still held up in the town of Al Nabq. However, if we push east and capture their last airfield and the nearby city, that should cut off their last remaining supply lines, and force the remaining CSAT forces in the west to either surrender or retreat.

Assault and capture both the CSAT Airfield (04-08 GRID) and the city of Al Tabqah

Objectives:

  1. Alpha
    1. HALO jump into the AO via Echo fixed-wing
    2. Capture and hold the airfield (expect a heavy counter-attack).
    3. Clear the city of Al Tabqah.

    1. Handle the transport of troops and logistics (drop zones are TBD)
    2. Provide fixed wing support (both logi and CAS)
    3. Construct a forward base at the airfield
    4. Crew HIMARS to assist Alpha (crews will transition into a mortar team or guntrucks once the airfield has been captured)
    RRC
    1. Clear out an LZ for the HALO jump and LAPES
    2. Find and destroy any SAM/AA threats
    3. Identify key targets around the AO
