Situation:

Following the plane crash and subsequent stranding of friendly forces behind enemy lines, CSAT has surrounded the 17th Ranger Battalion and is attempting to crush them. The flip side of this is that remaining friendly forces have retreated and secured an advantageous position on a main highway. As a result, US Command would prefer to relieve them by punching through enemy lines as opposed to simply evacuating them.

Civilian Considerations:

Civilians should be absent from the area ; exercise caution when in civilian areas

Mission:

Attempt to relieve the stranded 17th Ranger Squads and secure the town of Salquin, or failing that evacuate remaining Ranger elements. Preventing the capture of friendly forces is of utmost concern

Execution:

The process of relieving enveloped 17th Elements as well as their resupply and potential evacuation is left to the discretion of the Battalion CO. Friendly forces can be deployed from Airbase Omega or Airbase Alpha.

Fixed Wing assets will deploy from Airbase Alpha ; Rotary Wing and Ground Assets will deploy from Airbase Omega
