Situation

Recon Forces have discovered a withdrawal action by CSAT forces in the North West of the area, near the town of Al Nabq. CENTCOM wants to exploit this situation while it persists top potentially break through a known line of bunkers and secure the Port of Al Nabq before any more enemy forces pull back behind them. To this end, the 17th Ranger Battalion is being tasked with spearheading the assault on the line.
The 17th will conduct a concerted strike consisting of airstrikes and air assault by infantry to penetrate the enemy bunker lines, allowing for direct action on the town of Al Nabq.

Mission:

Penetrate and open both enemy held bunker lines near the town of Al Nabq and seize the the town itself, if possible.

Objectives:

  1. Alpha
    1. Air assault and push through the two CSAT bunker lines, denoted as Alpha (1) and Bravo (2).
    • Coordinate with Echo via JTAC to conduct IDF strikes.
  2. Reach the town of Al Nabq and secure it from OPFOR elements, while maintaining a low collateral coefficient.
Echo
  1. Conduct Air Assault via the appropriate airframe for a successful insertion of Alpha elements.
  2. In tandem, have multiple MLRS systems on standby for CFF via RRC JTAC.
  3. Following the Air Assault, an A10 and Comanche will be deployed.
  4. Field 2 JTAC to Alpha for ad hoc CAS strike calls per Alpha leadership. Each JTAC will own a single airframe via LR net:
  • LR 35 : A10
  • LR 35.2: Comanche
  • Deploy AT mines via Paladin at the below grid:

    1. Identify the most advantageous LZ for Alpha to land. Two LZs have been identified, but are not mandated.
    • LZ Axe : 0382 1760
    • LZ Dove : 0461 1869
  • Provide support for Alpha via the use of anti-armor weapons.
  • Provide support for Alpha via the use of MLRS systems operated by Echo, coordinated by RRC's JTAC.
