Execution:
With recent success of seizing the Rassa Airport, we have managed to divide the MLF into two main factors. Since we cannot be in two places at once, the approach on our agenda will be the North Eastern Region of the Gulfcoast. Countless other BLUFOR factions have made their attempts in that sector, now it is our turn.
Though there is a massive chunk of land we have outlined, there are only 4 hardpoints we have our eye on. As of now, the enemies realize their win conditions are low so they plan on sabotaging their own Oil Refineries so that we cannot get our hands on them. Time is of the essence, we must secure our glorious oil before MLF commits to these scorched earth tactics. Upon completion, we will then need to target the enemies forward communications jammer. These jammers have a 2-3km radius so organization from command down to the base rifleman will need to be spot on in preparation for us losing all radio transmissions. These jammers must be completely destroyed for us to resume our movements of the operation. We cannot move on until that is done.
Assuming the first half goes smoothly, we will then need to dedicate our assaults to wipe MLF off the remaining portions of that region. Our enemies will mainly be held up within the town of Harborside and one of their primary HQ’s just east of the town. Once we wipe out these two remaining areas, all of MLF will most likely been retreated into the isolated island of Corel Springs.
Objectives:
Alpha
- Secure the oil refineries and prevent the MLF from sabotaging it
- Seek and destroy all communication jammers within secondary objectives
- Control all Primary/Secondary objectives (7 total, some may be called off as an audible in the event jammers are located earlier)
Echo
- Operate convoy hauling all of Alpha from OBJ to OBJ
- Utilize Armored assets to assist convoy movements and objective assaults
- Provide JIP’s via ground vehicles
RRC
- Seek and destroy all communication jammers
- Relink with battalion and provide forward reconnaissance
CONOP:
-
Phase 0: Connect to Operations Server
- Server will be going live earlier than normal to allow RRC to step off early and for Echo to organize vehicles. Everyone else will load in 15 minutes prior UNLESS told otherwise
-
Phase I: Brief
- Mission Maker/BCO will open up with a general briefing, followed by Alpha, Echo, and RRC with their overall movements
-
Phase II: Prep
- Conduct final preparation and last second planning. Make adjustments to the primary assault plan based on info from RRC. Rangers will then board their vehicles of the convoy and move towards the contested North Eastern region
-
Phase III: OBJ Hydra/Siren
- The main objective of the operation will be seizing the oil refineries, preventing them from being sabotaged. Meanwhile, RRC has hopefully located OR destroyed the communication jammers within OBJ siren and moved onto more jammers.
-
Phase IV: OBJ Triton
- After taking control of the external secondary objective, Rangers will assault a hilltop with a communication jammer installation at the top. HOPEFULLY by now, all jammers will be neutralized.
-
Phase V: OBJ Kraken
- Rangers will wipe remaining forces out of the town of Harborside into retreat towards Corel Springs. From there the 17th will have control of the North Eastern region within the mainland.
-
Phase VI: RP/AAR
-
All units prepare for debrief.
