Mission:
The U.S. 7th Fleet has broken through sections of the PLAN blockade and have managed to send reinforcements by air, depositing them at Airbase Haven. In the north, U.N. forces designated Task Force 12 has successfully conducted naval invasions along the coast of Mariterra and are working their way inwards. It is time to begin our counterattack.
Our goals are to resecure the mainland, retaking the northeastern territories of Arcadia towards Fort Twin Peaks and ultimately the East Point Port. Arcadia is heavily dug in by reinforced PLA and MLF ground forces with strong contingents of armored and mechanized assets, including their ZTZ-99 MBTs that we faced during the defense of Cape Rassa. Fort Twin Peaks, formerly under our control, contains a substantial AA network that consists of CRAMs and SAMs that was disabled during the PLA EMP attacks. Lastly, the East Point Port contains several long range anti-ship missile launcher platforms, and more importantly, a PLA Type-071 Yuzhao-Class Amphibious Transport Class vessel docked there for repairs and troop deployment. We have identified the vessel to be the CNS Yim Guk Gai.
Execution:
The 17th Ranger Battalion is being dispatched to drive a spearhead northeast to dislodge the Arcadian defenders, recapture Fort Twin Peaks, seize the East Point Port, and to board and disable the CNS Yim Guk Gai. Elements of the 1st Infantry Battalion will work towards securing Port Orion to the north of Airbase Haven, Port Orion.
Fort Twin Peaks is broken up into several structures all along the mountain ridge, command orders that we preserve the AA emplacements with the intention of activating them to turn on the PLA Air Force. A command and control center is present at two major sites and both must be captured in order to bring the entire AA system online.
The CNS Yim Guk Gai is armed with a turreted deck gun, two CIWSs, and one Praetorian SAM. These point defense systems have a range of 4km. It is unknown as to what other countermeasures the vessel may have.
Armored and air assets have been provided to assist in the 17th's assault.
